I am always in dialogue with others. I “talk” to others in all my walking life. During my interactions with others, I am “called upon” by them. Their heart talks to mine. The way I respond to them is my heart talking back.

My heart is connected to my actual speech, the honesty of my words, and the report of my actions. In every moment I choose to be honest with others... or not. If I am dishonest a few times, it becomes easier to be dishonest more times. When I do this, the dialogue between me and others becomes obscured by me, and my words and world become unclear. I will seek, with my story, to change people into beings that deserve my dishonesty and that will fit into my self-obscured world.

When I am honest with others my whole life is clearer because I am no longer motivated to see others falsely and to tell a false story about them in my heart. My dialogue is open again. Life is happier, simpler, and my life’s story is more meaningful. To “talk” true is to be true. When I Talk True, I give others an invitation to also Talk True also.

Talk True (Petro-Person)

Some cultures use a 'talking stick' as a way to organize and maintain order in group discussion settings. This figure holds what could be representing a talking stick. On top of the stick is the symbol for 'to speak.' This 'to speak' occurs not only in the Southwest of the United States, but hundreds of miles away in the mid-west plains area of the United States as well.
